With skyrocketing inflation and an uncertain economy, we must do everything we can to support families in uncertain times. We must lower the tax burden on working families- from the gas pump to groceries. We must bring down healthcare cost through innovation.
Ian will fight back against our rising cost of living.
I've spent years working with teachers, parents and the broader community - both as a City Councilman- and also as President of the Manassas City Public Schools Education Foundation. What my experience has taught is that policies that empower parents and teachers are always best- and top down bureaucracy should be avoided. We must also work to support the entire education continuum - from our public schools to our home school students.
Ensuring public safety is one of the top priorities of government at any level. We should strive to have the best paid, best trained and most respected law enforcement officers in the nation.
Defunding the police means higher crime rates. Ian will back the blue and work to ensure our brave men and women in law enforcement have the funds and resources they need to keep our families and community safe. Ian will also repeal soft-on-crime legislation passed in Richmond.
Prince William County is home to beautiful
national parks, family farms, scenic views
and recreation. Ian will work to preserve our
open spaces, especially the rural crescent,
and support responsible growth
that preserves open lands.
We need to preserve residential neighborhoods and the rural crescent by:
As Chairman of the Manassas City Economic Development committee Ian worked directly with staff and community partners to bring quality jobs to our region. As an entrepreneur, inventor and owner of a national recruitment firm Ian knows what it's like to create jobs and help people find them.
Ian will bring this experience to Richmond and fight for jobs and a thriving economy so that every Virginian has an opportunity to excel.
We must:
As a Councilman Ian supported common sense transportation, traffic and development solutions to improve the time you spend commuting.
Virginia is home to nearly 800,000 veterans- and many live and work in the 22nd House of Delegates District. We owe our active duty and former military, reservists, Nation Guard and their families not only our sincere gratitude but a clear plan of action to make Virginia the number one state in the Union for veterans.
Supporting Veterans and helping them find jobs is one reason I started Reliant Hiring Solutions- Veteran focused hiring remains one of our top priorities.
Ian knows that we can both protect babies and support women. He supports Governor Youngkin's commonsense consensus bill to protect life at 15 weeks, when a baby can begin to feel pain- while preserving exceptions for cases of rape, incest and the life/health of the mother.
Ian knows that by working together we CAN build a consensus that speaks with Virginia's voice.
